Kathua (Jammu and Kashmir):

A Pakistani terrorist affiliated with Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) has been neutralised by a small team of Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) in a joint operation with the Indian Army and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in the general area of Billawar in Kathua district.


The information was shared by IGP Jammu Bhim Sen Tuti on social media platform X, confirming the successful outcome of the joint counter-terror operation.


Additional Background


Earlier, on January 7, SOG Kathua had engaged terrorists in the forest area of Kamadh Nullah, Kathua. Despite darkness, thick vegetation, and treacherous terrain, the SOG teams relentlessly engaged the terrorists. Teams of CRPF also participated in that joint operation.
